HOSTING & DOMAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(Reseller of Third-Party Hosting Infrastructure provided by Axxess)

These Terms and Conditions govern all domain registration and hosting services provided by Mad Honey Media (Pty) Ltd. (“Mad Honey Media”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to any client (“Client”, “you”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Mad Honey Media acts as a reseller of hosting and domain services using third-party infrastructure supplied by Axxess Networks (Pty) Ltd. (“Infrastructure Provider”).

1. Definitions & Scope

Domain registration and management
Shared hosting
WordPress hosting
Email hosting
VPS hosting
Cloud hosting
Managed VPS services

Mad Honey Media provides administrative, billing, management and client support services while physical infrastructure is supplied by a third-party provider.

2. Reseller Relationship

Mad Honey Media is not a data centre, network provider or hosting infrastructure owner. All services rely on infrastructure owned and operated by a third-party provider (currently Axxess).

Mad Honey Media shall not be liable for failures arising from downtime, power outages, network issues, security breaches, maintenance, acts of God, or operational decisions taken by the Infrastructure Provider.

3. Domain Registration

Domain registration fees are non-refundable.
Clients are responsible for selecting lawful domain names.
No trademark or IP searches are conducted by Mad Honey Media.

4. Domain Renewal

Domains are registered for fixed terms (usually 12 months).
Clients are responsible for timely renewal.
Failure to renew may result in permanent loss of domain and services.

5. Domain Ownership & ZACR Compliance

South African domains must reflect the true legal owner. Mad Honey Media may not be listed as registrant unless legally required.

6. Hosting Services

Hosting is provided on a best-effort basis. Packages, pricing and limits may change in line with Infrastructure Provider adjustments.

7. Backups & Data Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for their own backups. Any backups provided by the Infrastructure Provider are not guaranteed and are offered “as is”.

8. Cancellation

One full calendar month’s written notice is required.
All data may be permanently deleted upon cancellation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Mad Honey Media shall not be liable for data loss, income loss, business interruption, or consequential damages. Liability is capped at the pro-rata monthly service fee.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Amendments

Mad Honey Media may amend these Terms via email, website update or client portal. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Final Indemnity Clause

The Client indemnifies Mad Honey Media against all claims, losses, regulatory penalties, data loss, content disputes and domain ownership issues.
